Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how turrall & co. ("we", "us") operates the logtempo.com website ("this website") and the logtempo iOS app ("the app"). The two are covered separately below, because the website collects nothing and the app only collects anything if you choose to connect it to an account.

The privacy policy for the logtempo service itself — the accounts, servers and web dashboard at logtempo.io — is published at logtempo.io/privacy. It applies to any data held in your logtempo account, including data the app has synced there.

The website

Data we collect

This website does not collect personal data. There are no account registrations, contact forms, or newsletter sign-ups on logtempo.com. We do not use cookies or tracking pixels. The only data gathered is the anonymous, aggregate visitor statistics described below.

Analytics

We use Plausible Analytics to understand how many people visit this website and which pages they read. Plausible does not use cookies and does not collect or store personal data. Your IP address is used only to count unique visits, via a hash that is combined with a salt that rotates every 24 hours, and the IP address itself is never stored. No visitor can be identified or followed across other websites.

Plausible records the page visited, the referring website, your browser, operating system and device type, and your country. The data is aggregated, is never sold or shared, and is hosted within the EU by Plausible Insights OÜ (Estonia). More detail is available at plausible.io/data-policy.

Server logs

Like all websites, logtempo.com is hosted on a server that may automatically record standard access logs — including your IP address, browser type, and the pages you request. These logs are retained by our hosting provider for security and operational purposes and are not used to identify individual visitors. Log retention is governed by the hosting provider's own privacy policy.

Third-party links

This website contains links to third-party services, including the Apple App Store. These services are not operated by turrall & co. If you follow a link to a third-party site, please review that site's privacy policy. We have no control over, and accept no responsibility for, the content or privacy practices of third-party sites.

Third-party resources

Apart from the Plausible analytics script described above, which loads from plausible.io, this website loads no third-party scripts, fonts, or stylesheets. All other resources are served directly from logtempo.com. No request is made to Google, advertising networks, or any other external server when you visit this site.

The logtempo iOS app

The app works without an account

The app is fully usable on its own. Tasks, logged hours and reminders you create are stored only on your device, and nothing is transmitted to us or to anyone else. If you never connect the app to a logtempo account, we hold no data about you at all.

Connecting to a logtempo account

Connecting is optional and exists so your data is available on the web dashboard and on your other devices. When you connect, your email address and password are sent over an encrypted HTTPS connection to our servers to sign you in. The password is not stored on your device; only an access token is kept, in the iOS keychain, and it is removed when you disconnect.

While connected, the tasks, logged hours and task names you record are synced to our servers in the EU, operated by Hetzner Online GmbH. That data is held in your logtempo account and is governed by logtempo.io/privacy, which describes what is stored, for how long, and how to have it deleted.

Reminders

Task reminders are scheduled locally by your device. The app does not use push notifications, does not register for a push token, and no reminder information is sent to us.

In-app support

If you send a message from Settings → Get help in the app, we receive the name, email address and message you enter, together with the app version and build, your iOS version and your device model — for example "iPhone". That technical detail is included so we can reproduce problems rather than ask you for it. Support messages are used only to answer you, are never used for marketing, and are not shared with anyone.

No tracking, no analytics, no advertising

The app contains no analytics, no advertising and no third-party SDKs of any kind. It does not track you across other apps or websites, does not access the advertising identifier, and does not build a profile of you. Nothing you do in the app is shared with any third party.

Deleting your data

Deleting the app deletes everything it holds on your device, permanently. Your tasks, logged hours and reminders are stored only on the device, so removing the app removes them for good. We hold no copy and cannot restore them — the same is true if you delete individual entries inside the app. The only exceptions are a device or iCloud backup you have made yourself, which is outside our control, and data you have synced to a logtempo account.

If you have set up a logtempo account — which is optional, and separate from installing the app — a copy of your synced data is held on our servers and is not removed by deleting the app. That data, and how to have it deleted, is covered by logtempo.io/privacy. To delete the account and everything synced to it, contact support@logtempo.io. If you have never created an account, none of this applies to you: we hold nothing.

Your rights

This website collects no personal data, so there is nothing held about you from visiting it that could be corrected or deleted. The same is true of the app until you connect it to an account.

For data held in a logtempo account — including anything the app has synced — your rights of access, correction, deletion, portability and objection are set out at logtempo.io/privacy. For support messages you have sent us, or any question about this policy, contact us using the details below and we will respond as soon as possible.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date above will be updated accordingly. We encourage you to review this page periodically.

Governing law

This policy is governed by the laws of Switzerland. For users in the European Union, we note that this website falls within the scope of the GDPR solely in respect of server logs held by our hosting provider; no personal data is otherwise collected or processed by turrall & co. through this website. Data synced from the app to a logtempo account is processed under logtempo.io/privacy.
